Daisy is trained in filmmaking and has been involved in regional film discourses as a judge, writer and policy shaper; activities that have taken her to Nigeria, Burundi, Uganda and Tanzania. She also works as an events planner and moderator, public speaker and debater.
Daisy holds a B.A (Hons) Literature and Sociology with a minor in Communication from the University of Nairobi where she was the Organising Secretary of the Literature Students Association and editor of the Mwangaza Journal, a Department of Literature publication.
Her personal mantra is “just try” and her obsession with African Literature is probably unhealthy.
